98 in the house….107 outside. I spent much of the day “on the wall” painting trim in the sun. The place is looking great. Our boss, Ben, is very thorough and we are all learning new skills.

We took a stroll over to one of the homes that Berklee worked on last year and met the new owner. It was pretty cool. Actually she had nice AC going! Kathryn did a great job on an inside wall and the roof.

Off to the showers!

YOU AREN’T MISSING MUCH SINCE IT WAS RAINING BEFORE YOU LEFT AND HAS NOT STOPPED…. I AM ANXIOUSLY AWAITING YOUR RETURN TO SEE WHAT BOUNTY THE MOOTER GARDEN HAS PRODUCED.. STAY COOL..

    Hi Kathryn!

I am sorry that I missed your call last evening! I was so happy to hear your voice, and to know that everything is going well in NOLA!!! Way to go Kathryn…..Going back to see the home that you help to build last year must have created an incredible feeling! I know that the heat is overwhelming, but I know you! You will keep forging ahead! I miss you and all of the crew!

    Blessings!

Thanks for posting pictures! I love the colors of the houses… when I buy a home, maybe I’ll paint it that vibrant purple in honor of Habitat and all of you!
