A pre-concert press conference was an hour late in starting, but more than 50 Mexican journalists kept busy chatting and sampling some of the refreshments left over from a previous meeting at the Hotel W in Mexico City. Five Latin pop stars would soon be in the same room at the same time. Never had they appeared in public together.

The Spanish press loves celebrities, and this would be a fantasy photo op with familiar faces that remind of songs heard all over Latin America. But, so moved were the alumni pop stars, that they delivered heartfelt gratitude to Berklee College for helping them to develop their sound and stretch their understanding of music. The media got their star shots, and Berklee got important endorsements. Watch three below, and check the next blog post for the remainder.
