Even before I started working at the Berklee College of Music, I appreciated the Summer in the City concerts as a resident of Boston. Now as an employee of the college, I understand more how Berklee partners with different groups, non-profit organizations and individuals – including Mayor Menino – to make the concerts happen.
Now that the 2011 Summer in the City concert series is underway, I sat down the James McCoy to learn more about what the Tito Puente Latin Music Series has to offer residents of all ages across the city.
Looking to forward to seeing you at a free concert in your neighborhood. For a full list of concerts, click here!
