史上最大の吹雪到来?!

yoshieYoshie Nakayama, from Tokyo, is a 5th semester Contemporary Writing and Production major, trombone principal student. Also, she has many experiences of singing in choirs and a cappella choruses since she was a child. She Graduated Kunitachi College of Music in Tokyo with bachelor of music degree from music education major. Therefore, has license of teaching music in japanese Junior high/high schools.

さて、日本のニュースでも話題に乗っているようですが、アメリカの東海岸、ニューヨークやボストンを含むニューイングランド地方には史上最大とも言われる大寒波が現在到来中です。

ボストンで一冬過ごすと吹雪には慣れます。当然マイナスの気温での外出にも慣れるので、温度計からマイナスが外れると、それが0度でも1度でも、とても温かい日だ、という認識になります。しかし、風が吹くととても寒いので、吹雪は大敵です。

Snow Day!

Meghan Knowles,  who you may remember from my 5 Cubed series

Berklee students enjoyed a beautiful day off from school yesterday after Boston received approximately 12-14 inches of snow. Students first took to facebook on Wednesday night to share the news of the cancellation, followed by snowmen-making, snowball fighting, and general elation.
