Not sure of exactly what I was about to see, I took a drive to Kendal Square to see Kiesza perform last Thursday. It only took a minute after she started to play to know that I was about to have a great time.

The lunchtime crowd at the Harvard Longwood lawn welcomed Noe Socha Wednesday afternoon and he did not disappoint. Playing a mixture of Blues, classical guitar and some interesting original material, Noe jammed on his guitar with an amount of clarity I haven’t seen in a long time.
While this past week’s Regattabar show was rained out with flash-flood-like speed, the show before that easily brought enough sunshine to everyone’s day to make up for it.
Down again at the sun-sprayed dock of the ICA for another awesome show. This week: Emily Elbert and friends take the stage.
For my first show at Mother’s rest I got really lucky. A golden sun afternoon with two outstanding bands, relaxing in the shade, and enjoying some sweet female vocals.
