私は日曜の午後会場に到着して、Ron Carter Trio, Gary Burton New Quartet, Danilo Perez Panama 500 with Ben Street, Adam Cruz, Bobby McFerrin spirityouallを見ることができました。
Hoje venho falar sobre este evento que irá acontecer no dia 28 de setembro no Berklee Performance Center. Snarky Puppy sempre encontrou muito apoio, incentivo e um público caloroso para se apresentar na Berklee, lotando praticamente todos os shows que fizeram aqui até agora.
Inspired by Ty Cullen’s “Hey You! What Song Are You Listening To? NEW YORK”, students Abbey Hickman and Jordan Rose ask Berklee the same question: “BERKLEE COLLEGE OF MUSIC: What are you listening to?”

After seeing Bobby McFerrin last semester during his week-long artist in residency, I fervently counted down the days until February 24th when he’d return to Berklee to perform with a chorus of Berklee students in the BPC.
And Bobby McFerrin did not disappoint!
The crowd gave a warm Boston welcome to McFerrin when he entered the stage and began singing in his signature a cappella style, highlighting his 4 octave range. After a few minutes performing solo, McFerrin was joined by the huge Singing Tribe Ensemble, comprised of 22 students, representing countries from all around the world including Argentina, Ecuador, Finland, Greece, Holland, India, Italy, South Korea, and Russia. The creator of the ensemble, Joey Blake, selected the students for their talent and also their musical diversity to best highlight Berklee’s global student body.

今回は先日2/24にBPCにて行われた”Sing Song with Bobby McFerrin”と題された一大イベント、現在Berkleeに特別滞在して教鞭をとっているあのBobby McFerrinと、Berkleeの教授でBobbyの盟友であるJoey Blake、そしてそのVocalアンサンブルの生徒達による「声だけのコンサート」の模様をレポートしたいと思います。
James Taylorが来たときもしかり、ヴォーカリスト関連のイベント時は毎度のことなのですが、BPCの周り1/4周ぶん行列が、、、！
