The Berklee City Music Network is proud to announce the recent accomplishment of an outstanding City Music High School Academy student.

Pianist, Nicolas Perez was one of six high school seniors recently awarded scholarships by the Hyde Park Cooperative Charitable Foundation. Nicolas and his peers were given the awards based on their scholastic achievement, community service and extracurricular activities.

The Hyde Park Cooperative Charitable Foundation is a subsidiary of the Commonwealth Cooperative Bank and was founded for the purpose of raising money for worthwhile charitable, civic, education and social projects within the local community.

Nicolas is a 2011 graduate of the Boston Arts Academy.
