When we announced the launch of the photos from PULSE’s Practical Skills shoot in our October blog post, we got nearly a thousand hits on the photo album! Now, we’re unveiling the highly anticipated series of videos that were produced that day. The series is broken into 3 sections: Building Your Team, Dreams & Goals, and Presenting Yourself. Our hope is that students at Berklee and throughout our PULSE network will learn from these inspiring, real-world examples of what it’s like to live and work as a musician. The videos feature everyone from Berklee brass like Phil Wilson, Tony “Thunder” Smith and Terri Lyne Carrington to Berklee fashionistas like Sanja Ristic and Vaughnette Bigford to ambitious dreamers like Robert Gillies and Derek Allen Whisman.
In addition to these videos, we’re also launching a series on Career Profiles, covering music therapy, composition, business, technology, performance, and education.
Over the course of the next few weeks, we’ll be rolling out a teaser video from each of these four video segments. To kick us off, here’s a favorite from the Building Your Team series, featuring Berklee students Matt Rose and Randy Patterson, also known as “The Kindred Spirits.” Be sure to stay tuned to our twitter and facebook page for more exciting videos from the unit!
