Around town in Freiburg

Cleaning my metaphorical desk (meaning: cell phone camera) after the holiday break, I came across these Freiburg photos. More angles and corners on the Berklee study-abroad experience, at the Jazz & Rock Schulen and around the city.

The Jazz & Rock Schulen built this auditorium several years ago to accommodate its concerts and ensembles.

  1. Great photos and post, Danielle. One other big piece of Freiburg-related news. Berklee alumnus pianist and Freiburg resident Kirill Gerstein just won the prestigious Gilmore Artist Award, which nets him a cool 300 grand. Don’t know if he’s involved at all with the school or not, but it seemed worth mentioning.
