She’s shared the stage with Nanci Griffith, Kenny Rankin, Lucy Kaplansky, Livingston Taylor, and Jonathan Edwards. Now she’ll take the spotlight at D.C.’s grandest music venue.

On Thursday, May 21, student singer/songwriter Liz Longley performs as part of the John F. Kennedy Center‘s Conservatory Project. Awesomely enough, the hallowed hall opens its stage every year to students from the country’s best music colleges and conservatories. Read more about the trip.

Preview Liz’s music.

Liz, her band Jake Cohen and John Lippincott, and Berklee minder/enthusiast Rob Hayes will be blogging from D.C. After that, Liz goes on to blog from Texas… but that’s another post.
